Emily Graf is scheduled to take part in an Editing Pitch Session at the 2025 WWW Virtual Conference.
Emily Graf is the Acquisitions Editor for Sentient Publications, an independent press in Boulder, CO. Since childhood, Emily has been a voracious reader and an avid writer. After studying English Literature and Poetry Writing at Kenyon College, Emily’s love of the natural world, and the West in particular, drew her to Colorado. After working stints in the outdoor industry in Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and the ten-thousand foot town of Leadville, Emily was blessed with the opportunity to unite her love of the natural world and her love of writing, working as both an outdoor instructor and high school English teacher at the Watershed School in Boulder. Emily worked as a freelance writer and editor for over a decade before landing at Sentient Publications, where she is currently overseeing Sentient’s nonfiction imprint as well as the opening of two literary imprints—Linden House Books (fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction) and Spasm & Honey (erotic fiction and poetry.) When hearing from new authors, Emily is above all searching for expertly crafted prose and a fresh, clear voice.
