‘Twas the Week Before Christmas
On a snowy ranch in the hills excitement fills the air. From the littlest to the largest of the animals, everyone can feel it. Everyone, that is, except Buttons. He’s missing his summertime adventures with his friends. But there’s something going on while Buttons is sleeping. The barn is stirring. Soon Buttons will discover the greatest gift of all: friendship.
Embarking on the next generation of books for the Barn Cat Buttons Series took a lot of soul-searching. I love my original animal characters; yet, there is always a time for key players to gracefully take a step back. The original family of characters is not going anywhere. They will occasionally take cameo roles in stories that will featuring our new lineup of barn animals.
Ranch country is where Ann Edall-Robson grew up; and her love for her western heritage, customs and rural lifestyle is evident in her creative pursuits.
She is the author of the From Our Home To Yours cookbook series, the Barn Cat Buttons series of children’s books, and the Brandi Westeron Mystery series.
