Women Writing the West presents three adult award programs each year; The WILLA Literary Awards, The LAURA Short Fiction Award and The DOWNING Journalism Award.
The Women Writing the West High School Writing Contest consists of: WWW WILLA Youth Award for Poetry/Songwriting, WWW LAURA Youth Award for Short Fiction, and WWW DOWNING Youth Award for Nonfiction/Journalism
Awards are presented at the annual conference each October. Guidelines, rubrics and applications are available online at the Women Writing the West website.
