Conference 2026: Agents and Editors

Roundtable Advance Critique with Editor/Agent

Thursday, October 15, 2026, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Sign up now for the Roundtable Critique at the WWW Annual Conference. You will get feedback critique from one of the participating Agents and Editors on the first ten pages of your manuscript.

How it works.

Submit your first ten manuscript pages thirty days in advance and at conference you will receive critique comments from other participants and the editor or agent. Once you sign up, you will be contacted by email with instructions for submitting your pages. Participation requires advance submission, reading and critiquing others’ pages.

The Roundtable Critique is intended for those comfortable with and open to receiving valuable critique of their work. If you are already registered, you can still sign up for the Roundtable Advance Critique by going to the Registration form and checking the Roundtable Critique option. Cut off date to sign up for the Roundtable Critique is August 31, 2026.

Agents and Editors Panel

Friday, October 16, 2026, 10:15am – 11:45am

Meet this year’s agents and editors at the Agents and Editors Panel where they will introduce themselves, discuss the publishing industry, what current trends they are seeing, explain what they are looking for from prospective clients, and take questions from attendees. If you are hoping to pitch your writing project at conference, this is a perfect opportunity to narrow down exactly who you want to pitch to.

Pitch Sessions

2:00pm – 5:00pm Pitch Sessions Friday, October 16, 2026

9:00am – 10:15am Pitch Sessions, Saturday, October 17, 2026

2:15pm – 4:30pm Pitch sessions, Saturday, October 17, 2026

Pitch your manuscript to one of our conference Agents or Editors. The sign-up sheet will fill up fast for time slots on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. You will have ten minutes of one-on-one time to sit down with an agent or editor and pitch your proposed project and possibly come away from conference with an offer to send more of your work for their perusal. This year’s agents and editors are from all over the country—from Oregon to New York and points in between. Even Alaska. If you signed up to pitch when you registered, you will be contacted by email for your preferred day and time. You can also sign up at conference. Just remember, those slots fill up fast and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Women Writing the West Conference in Phoenix, October 15-17, 2026. Visit the Agents and Editors page on our website for bios.
